This book is an easier-to-read version of 'The Plague of Plagues - a Treatise on Sin' by the Puritan Ralph Venning. His book, first published in 1669, was written in the aftermath of the Great Plague of London.
This modern adaptation, prepared by John Appleby and Peter King, brings Venning's message to a modem generation which has a casual view of sin. The book is a call to take sin seriously, and an invitation to find the remedy in Jesus Christ.
